This is the second consecutive year Scotiabank has received this honour from the magazine. Scotiabank's Mari Jensen, Director, Sales, Foreign Exchange, is the 2013 recipient of the Women in Capital Markets (WCM) Rising Star Award. WCM is a non-profit organization that advocates the entry, advancement and development of women in the Canadian capital markets. The WCM Rising Star Award was established in 2010 "to recognize a female early leader whose entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and social responsibility have made a unique contribution to the Capital Markets industry." Scotiabank’s Vice President of Economics and Commodity Market Specialist, Patricia Mohr, has received the 2012 Metal Bulletin Apex award for the top gold and overall precious metals price forecasts.
