Position Highlights:
This position is intended for students who want to develop a career in a wholesale Sales and Trading environment. Students will gain an understanding of the products employed in our Sales and Trading division by working in one of the following areas: Institutional Equity, Fixed Income and Rates or Precious Metals.
Requirements:
- Be in the graduating class of 2013
- A strong desire to work in the Capital Markets
- A record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong computer orientation
- Ability to meet the challenges presented by a stressful and constantly changing work environment
- Team player.
Responsibilities:
- Students will be involved primarily in project work and assisting with the day-to-day operational activities of their group
- Provide assistance to the Sales, Trading and Structuring staff on the trade floor in the execution of their day-to-day functions
- Work on research projects that may be required from time to time
- Assist in preparing client presentations, daily market commentary and providing timely client support
- Keep abreast of market information, economic releases, trends and factors that affect market movement
