Career Path

I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) at Queen's University and concurrently spent two summers working in Global Trading as a Summer Analyst in Toronto. My first summer was spent with the Investor Products Group and my second in Fixed Income Sales & Trading. My time as a summer student helped me to get a broader understanding of our products and services, as well as the markets that underlie them. Most importantly, it introduced me to the people and corporate culture of Scotia – small work groups and high touch achieved through teamwork & cross-sell.

I have been working in London with Scotiabank for just over a year and am very satisfied with my decision. I am confident that the opportunity to work abroad for Scotia in a niche market will give me a different perspective on the business, and help me grow the skills and experience important for future success.
