On January 10, 2024, Scotiabank supported Micron Technology, Inc. in its successful issuance of US$1.0 billion of 7-Year Senior Notes, serving as an Active Bookrunner.
Micron Technology’s bond offering saw robust demand from over 200 fixed income investors, allowing the Company to tighten pricing by 35 bps from Initial Talk to Final Launch. The deal orderbook was 6.5x oversubscribed at the peak, with a final orderbook in excess of US$5.1 billion. Proceeds from the transaction will be used primarily for the repayment of outstanding debt, including a Term Loan due 2024.
This transaction represented one of the first U.S. Technology sector bond offerings of 2024 and reflects Scotiabank’s growing presence in the debt capital markets with bellwether U.S. Technology clients.
